DRHT Trail Map - Section 1  
Length - approximately 8 miles
Start - Rt 605 trailhead
End - Near Rt 610
Trail Conditions - The trail is clear and the ties are removed, but it has not been completely leveled and stone dust has not been put down. Overall, Section 1 of the trail is fairly even and good for walking, hiking, biking and running. But keep an eye out for uneven sections, holes and roots. This section is not yet considered suitable for strollers and children with bikes.

Parking & Access
1 -At the Rt 605 trailhead: There is a security gate which, when closed, permits several vehicles to park off the road without blocking the gated entrance. And, when open, provides access to 7 additional parking spots.
Current Gate Hours: Closed Monday through Friday. Open 8:00am until dusk Saturdays and Sundays.


2 - At the Rt 694 road crossing: Several vehicles may park off the road, on the trail, on each side of the road. Please be very careful to be completely off the road and not trespass on neighboring property.

3 - At the Rt 609 road crossing: There is a small parking area on the west side - From Rt 3, turn left onto the trail and into the parking area.

4 - At the Rt 610 road crossing: Several vehicles may park off the road, on the trail, on each side of the road. Please be very careful to be completely off the road and not trespass on neighboring property.
